Mt. A-mi is the surrounding mountain that embraces the northern portion of the basin in Seo-seok-myeon, Hongchun-gun, Gang-won-do.
In the mountainous region of Seo-seok-myeon, Pungam-ri is the only plain where the administrative office of Seo-seok-myeon is sitedin. For this reason, this region is rather called "Seo-seok" than Pungam-ri. Seo-seok gives an impression of being in a huge crater embraced by high mountains. Seo-seok as the center of the basin, Mt. Gohyang and Ami are located on the north side, Mt. Hongjung on the east, Mt. Woonmun on the south, and Mt. Dongmak on the west.
From the top of Mt. Ami, you can see the main ridgeline of Mt. Odae on your east side, and the branches of Mt. Odae such as Mt. Gebang, Wharyoung Summit, Mt. Heungjong are on the southeast.
